This week, we're collecting bounties...

Claiming the Mountaintop

Earlier this year, we've launched a way to easily track who's got the most Combat Points in a leaderboard-style lineup. The one who holds the top position, would be awarded a title that represents their honor and must be defended, and is known as the "Battlemaster" title.

For the past five weeks (that's just over a month), AFlyingxChicken has held the top position and currently reigns supreme with a fairly large point margin between him and second place. We intend to knock him off that mountaintop by giving everyone a chance at claiming his glory.

We plan to reveal the full details on this bounty later in the week.. Keep your eyes peeled for the BAND post, as well as a PS4 Event that'll be sent to your system notifications.

New Crucible Challenge // "Demolition Crew"

Objective: Obtain the highest amount of "Wrecking Ball" medals as possible in Elimination or Trials of Osiris before the challenge deadline.

Bonuses: Whoever earns the most Wrecking Ball medals will earn an additional 3 combat points, but ONLY if it was obtained in a Trials match.

Submission Directions: Submit a screenshot of your DTR or BNET carnage report showing a breakdown of all medals earned in the match of your choosing to BAND. You are allowed to resubmit as many times as you'd like until the challenge ends.

Challenge Deadline: Monday, March 20, 2017 at 12:00am EST

Activity Check Incoming!!

An activity check will be live the weekend before the Age of Triumph update hits to clean house.

It will work the same as you're all used to: Confirm that you're still active in LVX before time's up or you'll either be asked to return to a main LUX branch or kicked from LUX entirely.

It is important to note that some people will be removed from LVX regardless of whether or not they confirmed their activity. These people are those who are long-term inactives and have gone completely dark on both ends of Lux Viatores. We can't tell you who, but if you've payed attention you may have an idea of some names.

You can expect to see the Activity Check go live on the 24th and last thru the 27th.

Leaders' Thoughts

LVX is in a stand-still right now, as is most Destiny clans in general, specifically the PVP focused ones. We've gained a couple of new recruits that we hope will find their time here enjoyable, and that they'll make new friends not only here with us, but with those in the main LUX branches too.

Once the activity check is over, a recruitment thread will go up on Bungie.net and we'll share the link so you guys can bump it and help get some new life in here.

The bounty on Chicken's head will be the first of many to come. As stated earlier, details will show up not only on BAND but on your PS4 notifications as well. Good luck to both Chicken and his challengers.
