This week, we're setting off explosives and preparing to start the new year off on the right foot!
External Affairs
Some short time before LVX entered a state of hibernation for the holidays, we vaguely mentioned that we'd be getting into external affairs with outside clans for scrimmages and other fun interactions.
We are currently working out all the details with WLinden and the admins of three other clans. We will have more information to share very soon.
Weekly Practice Information
While we have not yet found a clan to scrimmage with, we can get right back to where we were on weekly practices. Here are the maps and modes that are recommended to play on by Im_An_Insomniac (based off the Destiny PvP Legends ruleset):

Please keep in mind: at the end of each match Fireteam Leader must be passed to a random person of the opposing team so they can select a map and mode. The maps and modes listed above are only suggestions and you are not limited to them.
Combat Point Tracker
With the conclusion of the most recent challenge "Speed Demon" where people were to submit their top race times for the Infinite Descent track in Sparrow Racing, we can finally issue and track Combat Points. This is where we will track and update point totals each week.
#1 - Im_An_Insomniac (5 CP)
#2 - ExaltedPanda (3 CP)
#3 - TheTrueWhiteWolf (1 CP)
These values will change each week as new victors emerge with weekly challenges, and points are awarded for other factors.
Starting in the near future we will also award a Clan Title to whoever has the most amount of Combat Points; Be warned, whoever earns the title will need to defend it as it is not permanent!
New Crucible Challenge: "Get It Off!"
Ever seen someone else throw a sticky grenade and watch it flawlessly attach and kill someone where your stickies ALWAYS miss or fail? Yeah.. we have too.. it sucks.
THE CHALLENGE: In Clash (excluding Mayhem Clash), obtain the highest possible score using ONLY Grenades (yes, this means no weapons, supers or melees) and post a screenshot of your PGCR.
SUBMISSION INSTRUCTIONS: Post a screenshot of your score on the Comments section of the Challenge thread on the LVX Wall via BNET or DTR. You may resubmit your score as many times as you want. Your game history will be checked at the end of the challenge for verification purposes.
Addressing The Issues
As we move further into the beginning of a new year, we would like to see where everyone currently stands here in LVX. Do you think everything is perfect? Or are there things you want to see changed?
Next week we will be posting a thread on the wall addressing the State of LVX. We want to hear everyone's opinions on things and whether or not change is needed.
This is a community-driven clan, everybody has the right to speak freely.
Leaders' Thoughts
It's the new year! We've launched an activity check and we're glad to say that 94% of LVX is active, has responded to our Activity Check and has secured their spots. We unfortunately had to release three of our members, but we wish them good luck wherever life takes them next.
The new year seems to be starting off in the right direction, which is exactly how many of us intend for things to go. On another note, we're wondering who will become our first Battlemaster....
