BAND Chatroom Info

This info is provided to help clear up any questions about what is and is not allowed within our clan chatrooms. Please keep in mind that all chatrooms should follow the clan rules (Meme Chat has special guidelines), all chatrooms are self-policed, and any issues that arise should be explained in detail to an admin so we may address the issue swiftly. These chats are all rooms requested by the community. Do not be the person responsible for a chatroom being shut down due to poor judgement.

All chats are tied to the Band app's notifications. You can edit every chatroom's level of notifying you. If you wish to join a chat but do not want all of the vibrating/ringing as messages post, we suggest you select "Silent Notifications" for each of those chatrooms. (Especially helpful with our very active Main Chat.

    • Do not take anything as a person's exact view on what they post. Everyone has a different definition of funny.

    • Leave your feelings at the door. Unless the picture is directed at you, treat it like anything else you see on the internet... optional and ignorable.

    • Racial slurs or slang, or any posts that target a person's race/ethnicity are not allowed. Memes with a focus on cultural jokes can be very touch and go... post at your own risk.

  • If anyone is found to be in violation of these rules or attacks someone within this chat, they will be removed from the chat. Further infractions will result in removal from the clan.
