WelCOME BACK!
The first of the newly reorganized Stardust Reports is here! As a refresher for those who maybe didn't read all of the last report: Overwatch news has been removed and is being refocused into it's own section, Gear Reviews con Chex have been put on hiatus while a new idea is being worked up for better sharing, and we announced Repliforce as the November Guardian of the Month. Lots of new stuff coming your way via the website, so if you haven't ha a chance to check it out, you should! (Best viewed on a PC, but the whole site is mobile friendly... just missing out on the cool looking graphics.)

Make sure your name on BAND is your PSN (not a variation of it). Another acceptable display name is your PSN followed by your first name in brackets.

Members are still in chats, but that will all change over the next fews days. I've been reviewing EVERYONE to see who is active and have populated a list of who's staying and going. Plus, unlike other clans, I intend to message each member being removed to give them ways to get back into our community.

This week's update came with a bit of unpleasant news for the PvP members of our community. In short, Bungie finally answered the big question about Crucible matchmaking with a clear and undesired response.
Currently, one of the biggest complaints in the community about PvP is the use of connection based matchmaking (CBMM). The complaint box has been overflowing for months now regarding how CBMM affects the quality of the Crucible, and how teams are paired Our Bungie overlords decided to lay out the details and explained why matchmaking is been so craptastic for awhile.
Bungie focused on a few of the main questions from the community. Here are a few of those questions:
Why are you teaming me up with weaker teammates?
We favor connection quality over skill ratings. If we favored skill over connection, you’d be more likely to have people closer to your skill level on both teams. If you want better teammates, they’re likely waiting for you in our recruitment forums.
Why can’t you match Fireteams against Fireteams?
If we waited for perfectly weighted teams to find each other, you might spend more time in orbit than in the game. Fireteams can and do still match up against one another, but fast matchmaking is the priority.
Do you try to force players into a 50% win/loss ratio?
Nope. As we’ve stated, your personal performance is a factor in the Guardians you end up confronting in battle, but we do nothing to artificially influence win streaks or alter individual player statistics.
This weekend's map is RUSTED LANDS! Grab your most confident loadout and prepare to sweat out this battle of skill. Whether you start at the beach or the silo, the winners in this map will be based solely on skill. Good luck.

guardians OF THE mONTH
Last week we announced co-admin Repliforce as the November Guardian of the Month. As is tradition, we presented him with 5 random questions to answer fro you all. Here's what he said...
1. After reading that you were GotM in the last Stardust Report, how did you react?
I was pretty dumbfounded. Didn't even know until I was notified with pseudo-interview questions! Admittedly I felt awkward but it did make me smile having read why. 2. You've clearly made a positive footprint in LUX and the recognition from your peers shows it. What keeps you smiling in regards to gaming?
Hm, tough question. I guess what keeps me content is being around others. I like having company, especially when I can let loose and by myself. Not many people get to see what I'm like outside of text, though! 3. If a farmer has 40 watermelons and you have 2 arms, how many of the melons can you hammer smash in 10 seconds?
It would really depend on the hammer. I mean, the bigger the hammer, and if you factor in arm strength as well as how light the hammer is.. Add in superhero or anime.. The answer is at least 4! 4. Besides Destiny, what other games can we find you playing?
I can be found playing Overwatch (PS4), the Division, Uncharted 4, Rock Band 4, and BlazBlue. 5. If you could have any one weapon from Destiny in real life, what would you pick and why?
The Hardlight. It's TRON and Mass Effect in the form of a gun. What's NOT to love?
