This week's report has a list of big changes coming to our community, as well as the most recent results from our Activity Check and what that means for us. We'll talk Destiny, Overwatch, other games and activities.... just a lot of quick notes and some details. Grab your AM coffee and pull up a seat.
NEW TO THE COMMUNITY OR BAND?
Make sure your name on BAND is your PSN (not a variation of it). Another acceptable display name is your PSN followed by your first name in brackets.

LUX IMPORTANT INFO
>>> ACTIVITY CHECK <<<
The activity check will close TONIGHT. This is a REQUIRED check for all LUX members and LVX members. If you do not select an option you may end up in the Pending Removal chatroom. If you fail to respond or end up in the Removal chat, you can still redeem your LUX tag by simply responding in that chat. Pending Removals will sit in that chat for 2 weeks before their tags and seats are opened up.
>> As mentioned last week, Clan Bounties are on hiatus until our community activity improves. Part of that will come with recruiting. Expect our final monthly bounty for this cycle to be announced next week.

>> As soon as this quarter's Activity Check wraps up we will be posting two new recruitment posts and would love everyone's help to keep them at the top of the Bungie forums. We'll post directions on how you can help when the new links are posted.
>> Expect to see our main Band page getting a bit of a reorganization and some new art very soon. We'll be condensing info to make it easier for our new members to learn the layout and tools of Band.
>> IN THE WORKS: Our very own, Neffboard, is starting a very exciting and ambitious project for our community! Keep an eye out for the first of what we hope will be a regular installment of a new vLog/podcast series to be posted on our new LUX YouTube Channel! More info on both projects as they reach fruition.
>> Effective immediately following this update, our Overwatch section of our Stardust Report will be reduced to a smaller section, but will convert to a regularly updated page on our website. Large news pieces will be added as necessary to the Report, but other than that, we're focusing the main report on community info. (LUX Overwatch events will still be posted in the Stardust Report.)

In classic Bungie fashion, this week's update came with very little info worth reporting. Iron Banner is currently going and changes are on the way for weapons (likely December). Other than that, we're back to the waiting game folks...
Please feel free to provide any feedback you have for events and challenges you would like to see as a LUX Event or a LUX Bounty. We're going to do these for you guys for as long as you're entertained!!
Expect an SRL LUX Race as soon as SRL relaunches. Middie has a crown to defend.
This weekend's map is FIRST LIGHT! Put those shotguns away and grab your most confident loadout. This map has so many lanes to watch. Communicate clearly and keep an eye open for that glint from a sniper scope. Good luck.

CURRENT EVENT: Blind Doubles
This new event is going to be interesting to watch how it works out. For weeks, this event has been getting tweaked and re-written. It's finally ready to go!
All who wish to participate simply need to turn in 3 scores on designated days. The top scores will be paired with a random member of the participants and combined. (In the event of odd numbers, the odd-man-out after shuffling will have their score doubled. We'll do at least 3 waves (more if we have enough people) and crown winners.
The mode: Iron Banner Control
Round 1 started Tuesday and ended Wednesday at nightly reset. Round 2 started Thursday and ended Friday at nightly reset. Round 3, the final round, starts today (Saturday) and will end at weekly reset! Get your scores in ASAP!

GEAR OF THE WEEK
Gear reviews will be undergoing a change in the near future. Once we finalize the new review plans, we'll update everyone. For now, let's hand the mic over to our Forgemaster for a weapon review fit for an Iron Lord. "The Clever Dragon“
Forged in honor of Timur, he whose spells cut deeper than any sword.
”The Clever Dragon is the probably the best primary in the game when it comes to PvP anyways. While it may not be the same archetype as Grasp of Malok, a "god-rolled" Dragon will outgun a Grasp. The base stats are not as good as good as Grasp but the perk selection is what makes the Dragon so good.
As I have been saying all week, the "god-roll" Dragon would Perfect Balance, High Caliber Rounds, and Counterbalance. High cal on such a fast rate of fire gun really makes this gun shine since the flinch will make it hard for people to shoot back at you. I feel that this gun will reign supreme in PvP for a while.
In PvE I think that this will be a good gun but not the best; so while you can... go out and try to get one to drop for you. If you don’t get a "god-roll" to drop for you, go and buy the vendor one as it is also a really good roll. That’s all from me for this week. " - Chex
guardians OF THE mONTH
It's that time again! Without any extra delays... let's make this official!

...but before we start, let's make a note of the major adjustment coming to Guardians of the Month. While we've maintained the 2-members each month to highlight, we want to make this a more exciting reward for our community to earn through recognition. With that said, we'll be looking to see/hear more direct recognition from you guys to help decide the monthly Guardian of the Month.
This month, we are happy to highlight co-admin Repliforce! Over the past 4 weeks, Repliforce has been seen running with multiple LUX teams in all aspects of the game, and has received a handful of written compliments in our email. Along with written praise, many members have reached out with compliments about Repliforce being a genuinely fun player to run with. It is with that kind of feedback that we're very happy to name Repliforce the November Guardian of the Month!
