WELCOME BACK!

HERE WE GO FOLKS.... THE HOME STRETCH!!! You can count the number of nights on a single hand before we begin our trek to Felwinter's Peak. Have you finished your Moments of Triumph? Reached light level 335? Played around in a Private Match? There's still time before the focus shifts to stopping the SIVA outbreak. For now, we're going to give you guys as much info as we have available without spoiling too much. Let's get to it!

NEW TO THE COMMUNITY OR BAND?

Make sure your name on BAND is your PSN (not a variation of it). Another acceptable display name is your PSN followed by your first name in brackets.
Make sure you have an avatar; It’s so much easier to figure out and associate who is talking.
We have a few simple rules to help keep our clan awesome…
1. Be respectful, to your clanmates and admins. Harassment, arguing, or general misconduct are the fastest ways to be removed from the clan.
Reports of RAGE QUITTING will receive one warning.A second offense will result in removal from the clan. (Rage quitting is defined as rudely exiting a game; whether that is PvP, or PvE related. We're all adults here, act like it if something is going wrong)
2. Be helpful. No one likes a lifeless group or a lack of a team for challenges. Hop in a new fire team every now and help out.
3. Have fun and be mature. Joking around is ok, but let’s keep it relatively clean and appropriate. You’ll be warned once if you cross a line. Don’t be that guy to get booted for breaking a rule. No one likes that guy.

LUX IMPORTANT INFO

- We still have spots open in LUX2 for anyone from LUX3 to take up. The idea is for LUX3 to be our welcome wagon, while LUX, LUX2 and LVX are for the more seasoned or specialized players.

- If you're still looking for any of the raid challenge fragments, or any of the Tier-3 Court Of Oryx fragments, all are currently rotating. We also learned today that the Nightfall appears to be rotating now, so check back tomorrow and each day for a new NF. If you need the Dreadnought NF frag, keep an ear to the ground for info.

- Weapon reviews you all have written will be going up as soon as possible. We're currently working on a better way to present the info. If things are hard to read, we apologize and will be addressing it soon!

- Our new Private Matches chat room is active! A few quick reminders about setting up matches:

1v1 Challenges can be serious or for fun. Should you choose to wager weapons, gear, characters, etc, we highly recommend you compete with a referee/spectator to hold both combatants accountable.
Weekly Crucible Bounties cannot be completed in Private Matches, however you can complete Daily Crucible Bounties and Weekly Test Weapons here. Weekly Test Weapon only matches will definitely be a thing.

- By the time you read this statement our Rise of Iron chat room will have been shut down, bringing the hype to our main chat. Along with that hype, the impending change of the King's Fall chat into the Wrath of the Machine chat. King's Fall will migrate into the Older Raids chat room. (We'll post a reminder message on Band when all those changes happen.)

All trails lead to Felwinter's Peak and we have our marching orders. All we need now is for Lord Saladin to give us the signal.

Bungie has given us so much info without spoiling too much. We want to respect the group of you who do not want too many spoilers, so we will limit what we post here this time. We'll avoid posting actual videos by simply posting the links, but pictures will go up in a rotating gallery. Take this as your SPOILER WARNING before scrolling down any further.

Let's revisit some of the pictures we've seen so far... again, you've been warned. Proceed at your own leisure.

We could go on and on and on, but we want to leave some of this for you guys to explore. Before we say goodbye to the teasing and subtle hints, let's remember a few things from The Taken King that we can truly be thankful for.

1-to-1 Infusion: Making the light level climb a bit easier to attack.
Emotes: Who doesn't like to do a little dance every now and then?
Prison of Elders: Our favorite PvE arena received a facelift and new enemies, as well as new rewards.
A Rewarding Raid: While this may be argued, this has been the most rewarding raid thus far, in terms of loot and progression.
Special Events: Festival of the Lost, Sparrow Racing League, Crimson Doubles... just a few of what we can hope will be more frequent events.

Get your gear ready Guardians, a new enemy is approaching and humanity is looking at us to defend it. We're happy you're here with us and have enjoyed our time together in TTK. We look forward to seeing you all grow in ROI, and cannot wait to see your amazing accomplishments!

A few small changes were made but nothing incredibly substantial. The biggest note is the reduction in Mercy Resurrection POTG's we should see.... because let's face it, that last patch made Mercy a highlight reel maniac.

MEME CHAT

Earlier this week we had to shut down the original Meme Chatroom due to some very VERY toxic topics being placed in there. While we want you guys to have the freedom to do as you please (for the most part) we do have to use common sense and our best judgement when our chats change like this one did. You guys asked for the room, and for the most part you all kept it fun and cheeky.

Saturday morning (PST) a new Meme Chat will go up. This new chatroom still remains a feelings-free zone, but we will have a few simple guidelines in place to help keep the room decent. For starters, the following topics are now INSTANT BAN topics and are non-negotiable: Gender targeted hate; including rape or abuse, race/ethnic defamation or insulting, handicaps (mental or physical) and/or child abuse. This list is very light, but this list is also not complete. Use your head... if the topic is easily heated it should probably not be targeted. There will be no review/discussion over these topics. If you post it, you're gone.

Equally offensive memes not listed here should be avoided. We want this chat to be fun and a place for people to go for a good laugh. We cannot control everything that gets posted in here, but we will do our best to eliminate trigger topics from returning. Sadly, if the same type of content returns to the room, we will permanently remove this community requested room.

GEAR OF THE WEEK

Our FORGEMASTER is going to be taking a much needed break from the Gear of the Week reviews to get real life stuff going (school and such) while we finish the upgrades to his new Forge. Expect to see a new section next week and the return of The Forge once Rise of Iron launches.
